By reading Pixel Verdict Lab you accept the terms below. They cover what our reviews are, how you may reuse them, and what we are and are not responsible for.
Everything published here is editorial opinion formed by playing games and writing about them. A score is a summary of a judgement, not a measurement, and reasonable people will disagree with some of ours. Nothing on this site should be treated as a factual guarantee about how a particular piece of software will behave on your own hardware.
Performance observations describe specific machines running specific builds at specific moments. Software changes constantly. A frame rate we recorded on one patch may be entirely different on the next, and a bug we encountered may already be fixed by the time you read about it. We name the build we tested precisely so you can judge how current our findings are.
You are welcome to quote short passages and scores in discussion, forum posts, videos and articles, provided the quotation is attributed to Pixel Verdict Lab and is not edited in a way that reverses its meaning. Wholesale republication of a full review, translation without permission, or use of our text to train commercial language models is not permitted.
Scores may not be used in commercial promotional material, on store pages, or in advertising without written agreement. This restriction exists because a number stripped of its review loses the context that makes it honest.
The illustrations, photographs and logo used across this site were produced for it and remain ours. Game titles, studio names and product names mentioned in reviews belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification and commentary only. No endorsement by, or affiliation with, any publisher or developer is claimed or implied.
This site sells nothing. There is no shop, no subscription, no membership tier and no donation mechanism. No transaction between you and this site is possible, and therefore no order, refund, delivery or returns process exists.
These pages are provided as they are. We make no commitment that the site will be reachable at any given time, that every link will remain valid indefinitely, or that older reviews will be kept online forever. Pages may be revised, corrected, merged or withdrawn as the desk sees fit.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for loss or damage arising from decisions made on the basis of anything published here, including purchases you regret. A review is a starting point for your own judgement about how you spend your money and your evenings.
Where a review links outward, that destination is controlled by somebody else. We do not vouch for its content, its accuracy or its practices, and the terms that apply once you arrive there are theirs rather than ours.
These terms may be updated as the site develops. The version published on this page is the one in force. Continuing to read the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
Where local consumer protection law grants you rights that cannot be excluded by agreement, nothing in these terms limits those rights. The remaining provisions continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted.
